Temperature and it's measurement Temperature is the degree of coldness and hotness of a body. It's S.i unit is Kelvin [K]. -Temperature is the property of a body which determines the part of heat flow. -It is measured with the aid of a thermometer. Types Of Thermometer * Gas thermometer * Liquid in glass thermometer * Resistance thermometer * Thermoelectric thermometer etc. Gas thermometer Consist of a Gas which expands as temperature increases and contract as temperature decreases in obedience to the gas law. Hence,it thermometric property is a ∆in volume with a change in temperature.
