Gravity.

Which is the best explanation for the earth's gravity?.... If mass was responsible for the effects of gravity, this means that a more massive object's stronger attraction to the earth's mass, would fall faster then any less massive objects, when we know that this does not happen. Because all objects have to fall at the same rate of speed regardless of their mass... Where it is actually reverse gravity (centrifugal force) that neutralizes gravity's acceleration on an object, causing all objects to fall at the same rate of speed, regardless of their mass (which better conforms with experiments)...  Whenever we are in a fast traveling vehicle and it changes its direction of travel, we always experience a force. This is why we experience a force with centrifugal force because its rotation is "a constant change of direction", which creates a constant force (reverse gravity). Written: Alan Halonen.

Density

Physics-helper  Subject :- Density Hello guys Am Kolapo one of the admin @ Physics-helper And am sure at the end of this lesson you should be able to know more about Density The density of a substance is defined as the mass of the substance per unit volume Which can be expressed mathematically as :- D=M/V Where D= Density             M=Mass             V=Volume       Determination of Density Of A Solid 1) Regular shaped solid :-        The mass a regular shaped solid is obtained with the aid of a chemical balance. It's volume is calculated from the measurement made by using either the Vernier calipers or a micrometer screw guage depending on size and shape of the solid. The density can be obtained by using the formula D=m/v 2) Irregular shaped solid :-     The volume of an irregular shaped solid is found by displacement method Relative Den...
Temperature and it's measurement Temperature is the degree of coldness and hotness of a body. It's S.i unit is Kelvin [K]. -Temperature is the property of a body which determines the part of heat flow. -It is measured with the aid of a thermometer. Types Of Thermometer * Gas thermometer * Liquid in glass thermometer * Resistance thermometer * Thermoelectric thermometer etc. Gas thermometer  Consist of a Gas which expands as temperature increases and contract as temperature decreases in obedience to the gas law. Hence,it thermometric property is a ∆in volume with a change in temperature. Liquid in Glass Thermometer Consist of liquid whose thermometric property is a ∆ in volume with ∆ in temperature The common thermometric used are Mercury and Alcohol Water isn't part of the liquid because :- 1) It has high melting point 2) It is colourless ; hence cannot be easily seen in glass 3)It wet glass Resistance thermometer The thermometric pro...
Physics-helper tutor Topic :- Electricity Electricity is the energy made available by the flow if electric charges through a conductor. Conductors can be in forms of electrolytes, human body, metal rods, metal plates, metal wires etc. Electricity is of two types, alternating current (ac) and direct current (dc). Alternating current is a form of electricity that is unstable, therefore when the human body (which is a natural conductor) comes in contact with an ac-carrying conductor, the vibrations caused by this current to the human body is what we commonly know as "shock". Direct current is a stable current I.e. it has a stable value and travels on one direction. When the human body comes in contact with a conductor carrying this type if current, no "shock" is experienced as this type of current is stable. For the alternating current, because if its unstable state, its value is constantly in variation, therefore, to get a single value for this current, we ma...
